Customer orders

Recording a confirmed sale: quantities, prices, customer, deposit and balance. Starting point for creating a picking list, a delivery note, an invoice, or — for a non-stock item — a directly linked purchase order.

What it is for

A customer order is the confirmation of a sale that you have accepted from the customer. It records which products have been ordered, in what quantities, at what price, and for what total amount (excluding VAT and including VAT). You can add a deposit to it and manage the outstanding balance. From the order, you can then create a work order (for technical teams), a delivery note or an invoice. For a product not held in stock, you can also generate a supplier order (partial or full) directly without leaving the screen, or view in real time the best purchase price offered by your connected wholesalers for a given line item.
