EatXell — Catering (dining area, tables, stations)

EatXell integrates the dining area and kitchen with the till system: a floor plan, an open bill per table, sending orders to the kitchen, splitting the bill and payment processing. This screen sets up the framework: sales channels (dine-in, takeaway), dining areas, tables and production stations. The module is activated by business and requires the POS module.

What it is for

A restaurant does not operate like a counter: the order remains open throughout the meal, dishes are sent to the kitchen as and when they are ordered, the bill is split, and payment is made at the end. EatXell adds this layer on top of the existing till system: the bill is a draft that can be freely amended, whilst payment is processed through the till — the same invoice, the same signed receipt, and the same reports as for a counter sale. This screen is the starting point: without a dining area or tables, the front-of-house station has no seating plan to display; without a station, the kitchen receives nothing.
