Electronic invoicing — 2026 reform & channels by country
This screen manages multi-country electronic invoicing: issuing your sales invoices via the relevant country’s official channel (the French Approved Platform for the 2026–2027 reform, Chorus Pro for the public sector, Peppol for Europe, and the national systems of Poland, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Italy, Romania and Hungary), the receipt of supplier invoices, lifecycle tracking and the configuration of each channel. Four tabs: Invoices, Issuance Log, Invoices Received, Configuration.
What it is for
Across Europe, invoices between businesses must (or will soon have to) be sent via official electronic channels – which vary from country to country – rather than simply as PDFs or on paper. In France, the 2026–2027 reform mandates the use of an Approved Platform (PA): your sales invoices are submitted there and forwarded to your customer, and invoices from your suppliers are sent to you via the same channel (receipt of which will be mandatory from September 2026). However, if you are invoicing a French public authority, Chorus Pro applies; a customer in another EU country can be reached via the Peppol network; and if your company sells FROM Poland, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Italy, Romania or Hungary, each country has its own national system (KSeF, ATCUD with a QR code on the PDF, Verifactu, XRechnung/Peppol, FatturaPA to the SdI, e-Factura ANAF, NAV Online Számla). This screen centralises all of this: for each invoice, the main issue button automatically corresponds to the national channel for YOUR selling country, and a small menu ⌄ offers the other relevant channels (those for the customer’s country, then the rest). You can then track the status throughout the lifecycle (submitted, received, paid, error, etc.), retrieve and process received invoices, and issue lifecycle statuses as required (for example, accepting a supplier invoice). Each channel is configured in the ‘Configuration’ tab — the French PA can even connect with a single click via a login button (authorisation tunnel, similar to ‘Sign in with Google’) instead of manually entering login details. A test environment (sandbox) allows you to try everything out without any tax implications; in production, submissions are live. You can track statuses by clicking ‘Refresh’ (the platforms do not send automatic notifications).
