Quotations (customer quotes)
A sales document offering products/services to a customer, including quantities, prices, discounts and guarantees. It can be sent as an online quotation with an electronic signature and a deposit, or converted directly into an order or invoice.
What it is for
A quotation (or offer) is a sales document setting out the products or services on offer to a customer, including quantities, prices, discounts and terms and conditions. It is the stage prior to the order: it commits your sales department to the customer. You create it, print it or send it by email, then convert it into an order or a direct invoice depending on the agreement. To speed up the process, ForXell also offers an online quotation (quote-to-sign): a public link sent to the customer, where they can view the quotation, request a change, reject it, or accept and sign it electronically — with an online deposit payment if you require one. A simple electronic signature (without going via the public link) is also possible for more urgent cases.
This article, and all the others, are available directly inside ForXell.
