Cash Flow Dashboard
The cash flow dashboard displays your projected cash flow: what your customers owe you (incoming payments) minus what you owe your suppliers (outgoing payments), sorted by due date. You can see at a glance whether the coming weeks will be comfortable or tight. Eventually, actual bank balances will be added via a bank connection.
What it is for
Running a business means, first and foremost, never running out of money. The cash flow dashboard answers the question ‘Will I have enough to pay in 15, 30 or 60 days?’ without the need for a spreadsheet. It adds up, on one side, the customer invoices due for collection and, on the other, the supplier invoices due for payment, then groups them by payment due date (overdue, 0–30 days, 31–60 days, 61–90 days, beyond) to show the projected net balance period by period. Overdue receivables are highlighted separately, as these are the ones that need to be chased as a priority. The screen also includes the reconciliation of LCR outgoings (supplier direct debit authorisations already processed by the bank). This is a read-only screen: it does not alter anything, but helps inform your decisions. The bank connection (real-time balances, automatic reconciliation) will complement this forecast once an aggregator has been activated.
